Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Part-Time Security Officer for overnight mobile patrol in San Diego, CA. You will help safeguard clients across various industries while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a visible security presence.

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for unusual activity, potential policy violations, and security-related concerns, and promptly report observations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and customer service needs while maintaining a professional presence that may help to deter unwanted activity.
