Job summary

Allied Universal in San Diego, CA is seeking a Security Officer for residential overnight driving patrol. The role involves driving patrols, monitoring access, and assisting residents and visitors with professionalism and a visible security presence.

This full-time position requires a valid driver’s license and strong communication skills; you should be comfortable using a computer or tablet and delivering excellent customer service in a community setting.

Qualifications

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the residential community, verify visitor and vendor entry according to site procedures, and maintain logs.
• Respond to incidents and resident concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel as directed by site procedures.
• Document observations and incidents in clear, accurate reports for site management and leadership.
