Job summary

The Center for Great Expectations seeks an Overnight Senior Mental Health Associate for the Adolescent Program in New Jersey. You will supervise MHA staff on the overnight shift, oversee activities, and safeguard resident safety in alignment with treatment plans.

You will implement the Nurtured Heart Approach and ARC interventions, promote teamwork, and ensure documentation accuracy across logs and communications during night coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years of experience working with youth in residential or acute care behavioral health settings.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in social work, psychology or related field with 1 year of relevant experience.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to manage crisis interventions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift activities and schedule for MHA staff.
• Ensure resident safety and adherence to treatment plans and policies.
• Facilitate residential activities and crisis interventions as needed.
