Job summary

Sunrise Residential Treatment Center is seeking Overnight Behavioral Health Associates to supervise overnight, provide emotional support, ensure safety, and deliver structured programming for adolescents aged 12–17. You will work alongside therapists and nurses to meet treatment goals in a safe, home-like environment emphasizing relational, experiential, and evidence-based care.

You will support routines, intervene crises when needed, and help maintain documentation and a collaborative team

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age or older
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen
• Able to pass criminal investigation background check
• Current driver’s license
• Ability to learn CPR and First-Aid

Responsibilities

• Daily routines: Support students in maintaining structured evening and overnight routines with consistency and encouragement.
• Crisis intervention: Use verbal de-escalation techniques to manage emotional or behavioral escalations; apply approved physical interventions when clinically necessary to ensure safety.
• Crisis prevention: Apply proactive strategies to reduce risk and provide crisis management when necessary.
• Treatment alignment: Ensure student progress aligns with individualized treatment plans developed by therapists.
• Positive modeling: Model constructive behaviors and attitudes, reinforcing a healthy environment for clients.
• Documentation: Maintain consistent, thorough records of client interactions, incidents, and progress.
• Team engagement: Participate in staff and house bonding activities to foster teamwork and community cohesion.
• Housekeeping tasks: Perform light daily tasks to maintain a clean, organized living space.
