Job summary

Walmart is seeking a customer-focused associate at our Lakeland, FL location. You will deliver member service, assist with self-service technology, and help customers with purchasing decisions while keeping the sales floor stocked and well-presented.

You will supervise associates, train staff, and ensure safety, policy adherence, and efficient store operations. The role includes teamwork, leadership, and a commitment to ethical standards and integrity.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 6 months retail experience AND 6 months customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs; guiding and supporting members with self-service technology; assisting with purchasing decisions; locating merchandise and resolving issues per company guidelines.
• Assists management with supervising associates by assigning duties, communicating goals, training, and evaluating performance.
• Receives and stocks supplies, maintains sales floor, and ensures proper merchandising, pricing and documentation.
• Maintains facility safety, conducts safety sweeps, and reports unsafe situations.
• Leads teams, coordinates work, and supports change to meet business priorities and timelines.
• Oversees picking and staging of club pickup orders and collaborates with managers to implement process improvements.
• Demonstrates and ensures compliance with company policies, ethics and Open Door Policy.
