Job summary

Sam's Club (Slidell) is seeking a full-time associate to deliver member service, assist leadership in supervising teammates, and manage stock, merchandising, and safety on the sales floor. The role emphasizes customer interactions, adherence to policies, and teamwork across departments to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities include supporting management, stocking and pricing merchandise, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards while helping to drive store performance

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 6 months retail experience AND 6 months customer service experience.
• Leading a team, supervising experience to include hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing the workload of others (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs.
• Assists management with supervision of associates by assigning duties and guiding performance.
• Receives and stocks supplies and merchandise and maintains the sales floor per policies.
• Maintains facility safety by conducting safety checks and following hazardous materials procedures.
• Oversees merchandising and product displays, signage, pricing, and inventory integrity.
• Leads and participates in teams to meet timelines and quality standards.
• Oversees club pick up order preparation and staging as required.
• Implements processes to meet business needs through collaboration and continuous improvement.
