Job summary

Sam's Club in Normal, IL is seeking a retail associate to provide member service, assist with purchasing decisions, and locate merchandise. You will supervise associates, train staff, and ensure service aligns with company policies while maintaining safety and cleanliness on the sales floor.

The role involves stocking, pricing, handling returns, and monitoring inventory for shrink and damage. You will lead teams, coordinate tasks, and support club pick up orders, contributing to a high standard

Qualifications

6 months retail experience and 6 months customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs; assisting with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise.
Supervise associates in assigned area; assign duties, train on processes and ensure customer service alignment.
Stock supplies and merchandise; organize sales floor and complete required documentation.
Maintain safety and sanitation; conduct safety sweeps and report unsafe conditions.
Maintain presentation; sign/pricing, manage returns, and monitor shrink and damaged goods.
Lead teams; coordinate work, give feedback, and model adaptability.
Oversee club pick up orders; ensure correct staging per policy.
