The State of Nebraska, Norfolk Regional Center, seeks a compassionate Team Leader to guide patient care, staff development, and unit operations. You will provide direct leadership to Mental Health Specialists and work closely with the RN Unit Supervisor to meet unit goals.

Qualifications

• Leadership role overseeing a team of Mental Health Specialists.
• Experience in patient care and unit operations is preferred.
• Ability to coach, supervise and ensure policy compliance.

Responsabilités

• Supervise, coach, and lead MHS.
• Ensure staff adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and licensing requirements.
• Ensure staff respond appropriately to emergencies or crisis situations.
• Intervene in verbal disputes and perform physical interventions using crisis intervention techniques.
• Ensure completion of patient and unit searches.
• Participate in unit treatment team meetings.
• Review and ensure completion of shift documentation and incident details.
• Support QA and Performance Improvement efforts.
