Job Summary

The Overnight Closer (Member Services Representative) will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. You will also be responsible for closing that day’s shift and creating an accurate bank deposit.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
2. Handle all front desk activities, including:
   • Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with questions.
   • Check members into the system.
   • Sign up new members.
   • Take prospective members on tours.
3. Facilitate necessary updates to members’ accounts.
4. Respond to member questions and concerns professionally and escalate to the Manager as needed.
5. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and neatness of the club.
6. Close the shift by balancing the cash drawer, generating daily reports, and verifying entries.
7. Create the bank deposit for the next day.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.

• Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers, exceeding expectations.

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Physical Demands

• Standing and walking continuously during the shift.
• Talking in person or on the phone throughout the shift.
• Ability to work overnight hours from 10 pm to 6 am.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
