Position: Overnight Closer (Customer Service Representative)

The Overnight Closer will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. Additionally, the role involves closing the business day and preparing an accurate bank deposit.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
2. Handle all front desk activities, including answering phones, checking members in, and assisting with member account updates.
3. Take prospective members on tours and facilitate new member sign-ups.
4. Respond to member questions and concerns promptly, escalating issues to management as needed.
5. Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the club.
6. Close the shift for the business day and prepare the next day's bank deposit.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• A passion for fitness and health.
• Positive, upbeat attitude!
• Punctuality and reliability are essential.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to listen empathetically and problem-solve effectively.
• Diplomatic behavior and appropriate language use.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Physical Demands

• Standing and walking continuously during shifts.
• Talking in person and on the phone regularly.
• Ability to work overnight shifts.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Handling cleaning chemicals as needed.
