Position: Member Services Rep - Part Time - Weekend Morning

Overview

We are seeking a motivated Member Services Representative to join our team! BILINGUAL English/Spanish candidates are encouraged to apply. As a member of our staff, you will provide exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring an outstanding 'Judgement Free' experience.

Responsibilities

1. Customer Service/Front Desk:
   • Greet members and guests warmly, making everyone feel welcome.
   • Answer phones courteously and assist callers with inquiries.
   • Check members in, conduct tours, sign up new members, log amenities, and communicate updates and events.
   • Respond promptly and professionally to member questions and concerns.
   • Process beverage or merchandise purchases via POS system.
   • Assist with new membership cards, address changes, and billing questions using POS system.
2. Club Cleanliness and Maintenance:
   • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area and lobby.
   • Perform regular cleaning tasks such as mopping, trash removal, window and mirror cleaning, and re-racking weights.
   • Clean and disinfect exercise equipment and tanning beds regularly.
   • Ensure restrooms and wet areas are clean and stocked.

Qualifications & Requirements

1. Applicants for overnight positions must pass a 7-year criminal background check within the first week of hire; continued employment depends on a satisfactory outcome.
2. Exceptional customer service skills; ability to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers.
3. Prior customer service experience preferred.
4. Must be 18 years or older.
5. High School diploma or GED required.
6. Positive, upbeat, and professional attitude.
7. Punctuality and reliability are essential.
8. Obtain and maintain CPR/AED certification as required.
9. Physical ability to perform duties, including standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and administering CPR if needed.
