Job summary

MedSpeed is seeking an overnight Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Pittsburgh, PA. The role runs Friday–Sunday, 10:00pm–6:30am, with a $1/hr shift differential between 10pm and 5am.

You will transport lab specimens, records, and materials in a company vehicle and maintain professional client interactions. Requirements include 19+ years old with a valid license for 3+ years, dependability, and comfort with scanners and basic tech.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age or older with an active driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to follow procedures.
• Familiarity with handheld scanners and basic technology.
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work overnight shifts in a fixed schedule.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company-owned vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, and other materials.
• Operate a handheld scanner to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Observe policies, procedures, and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload vehicles and perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Collaborate with teammates and clients to ensure timely delivery.
• Adapt to varying routes and build a collaborative MedSpeed team culture.
