Job summary

MedSpeed is hiring a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Pittsburgh, PA. This part-time role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00am–3:00pm, with a starting wage of $17.00 per hour in a company vehicle environment.

You will transport lab specimens, medical records, and supplies to healthcare facilities across our nationwide network. Responsibilities include driving a company vehicle, using a handheld scanner, performing safety checks, and maintaining a professional image with clients.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity working with and adapting to technology.
• Demonstrated ability to follow procedures closely.

Responsibilities

• Safely driving and transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail and related materials.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Load and unload company vehicles with appropriate equipment.
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
