Job summary

Emresponse in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a Medical Dispatcher for overnight 12-hour shifts to be the primary contact for hospitals and facilities regarding ALS/BLS ambulatory transport. You will document information into Traumasoft and coordinate with crews and supervisors.

Daily duties include monitoring schedules, updating ETAs, distributing end-of-shift reports, and assisting crews with tablet issues. Training starts during the daytime until credentialed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid Florida Driver License.
• Must be able to pass Drug Screening.
• EMD Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls from hospitals and other facilities regarding ALS and BLS ambulatory transport.
• Accurately document all necessary information into Traumasoft.
• Monitor schedules and ensure a smooth transition from day to night shift.
• Maintain and update ETAs; minimize lost and/or late runs.
• Interact with crew members and coordinate with Supervisor and Operations Manager on attendance.
• Assist crew with tablet issues and questions about facilities.
• Distribute daily end-of-shift report to management.
• Work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Daytime training until credentialed.
