Job summary

Ethos in California is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor, Food Manufacturing (Overnight Shift, Full-Time) to lead maintenance teams across plant, facilities, utilities and powerhouse, keeping production lines running. You will oversee predictive and preventive maintenance, train staff, ensure compliance with USDA regs, and develop maintenance systems including TPM and SOPs.

Strong electro-mechanical skills and ammonia refrigeration expertise are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 2+ years of relevant maintenance leadership experience required.
• Food manufacturing background preferred.
• Ammonia refrigeration experience preferred.
• Strong electro-mechanical skills and root-cause analysis ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians in predictive and preventative maintenance and in machine repairs.
• Train employees on proper work methods and safety procedures.
• Supervise and support maintenance systems, processes, and documentation to ensure high performance.
• Ensure maintenance is scheduled timely and in collaboration with Production to address equipment and facility repairs.
• Develop and implement effective maintenance systems (Prevention and Predictive Maintenance, TPM, SOPs, Safety, etc.).
• Provide regular status reports to the maintenance management team.
• Ensure maintenance tasks comply with USDA regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed and inventory.
