Job summary

Mission Foods is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a team of mechanics and leads in a manufacturing setting. You will supervise daily maintenance tasks, implement preventive maintenance schedules, and ensure equipment safety and food safety compliance.

The role requires strong electrical/PLC troubleshooting skills, experience with regulatory inspections, and the ability to train staff and manage work orders. Night shift availability is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience (or 4 years as lead) in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in electrical diagrams, electrical and PLC troubleshooting/programming, and knowledge of codes.
• Experience with regulatory inspectors (AIB, BRC, OSHA, EPA, Health Department).

Responsibilities

• Supervise Leads and Mechanics in daily maintenance activities.
• Develop and follow up plans to meet department goals.
• Perform preventive maintenance and ensure equipment operability.
• Conduct safety and sanitation audits as needed.
• Train mechanics and production personnel in troubleshooting.
• Ensure work orders are addressed promptly and OSHA/food safety compliance.
• Communicate progress and opportunities for advancement to staff.
