Job summary

Marriott Norfolk Waterside in Norfolk, VA is hiring an Overnight Maintenance Assistant to keep guest rooms and public areas running smoothly overnight.

You’ll perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and mechanical repairs, handle work orders and preventative maintenance, and respond to facility emergencies while delivering great guest service.

Experience in a hotel or hospitality maintenance is preferred, with strong communication and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years maintenance experience preferred.
• 2+ years in a trade (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry).
• Basic computer skills required.
• Strong communication skills.
