Job summary

Kruse Village in Texas is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide compassionate clinical care to residents during nightly shifts (6pm–6am). This full-time role requires an active Texas LVN license and CPR certification, with a focus on high-quality resident care and teamwork.

You will administer medications, monitor conditions, support CNAs, participate in care planning, uphold safety protocols, and engage with families and the care team to promote dignity and comfort.

Qualifications

• Active LVN license in Texas.
• CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain on hire).
• Experience in skilled nursing or senior living preferred but not required.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to stay organized and calm under pressure while leading others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care per resident care plans, orders, and policies.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Monitor residents and intervene to ensure health and safety.
• Support CNAs and direct care staff to ensure quality care.
• Communicate changes to physicians, families, and the team.
• Participate in care planning, assessments, and quality initiatives.
• Uphold infection control, safety, and emergency protocols.
• Lead and mentor staff; collaborate with families and departments.
