Job summary

Kruse Village is hiring a licensed LVN for full-time overnight shifts (6pm-6am) to provide compassionate, clinical care for residents. The role emphasizes medication administration, monitoring, and collaboration with the care team.

Qualified candidates have an active Texas LVN license and CPR certification or willingness to obtain. Prior skilled nursing experience is preferred, with strong documentation and communication skills essential.

Qualifications

• Active LVN license in the state of Texas.
• CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Previous experience in skilled nursing or senior living preferred, but not required.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to stay organized and calm under pressure while leading others.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with resident care plans, physician orders, and community policies.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Monitor resident conditions and intervene as needed to ensure health and safety.
• Support CNAs and other direct care staff to ensure consistent, quality care.
• Communicate changes in resident status to physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Participate in care planning, resident assessments, and quality improvement initiatives.
