The LVN will oversee orders, administer medications, train staff, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, ensure compliance with policies, and maintain accurate records, while providing compassionate, resident-focused service.

Qualifications

• Licensed Vocational Nurse graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Nursing diploma or associate degree in nursing; Bachelor's preferred.
• One year of nursing experience in a long-term care facility preferred; supervisory/leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct nursing services to residents under supervision of a registered nurse.
• Provide on-the-job training and supervise team members; lead and discipline as needed.
• Oversee orders, transcribe accurately, administer medications per orders.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to plan, review, and evaluate care.
• Document resident conditions timely and report observations promptly.
• Manage staffing levels and address performance issues per policy.
• Facilitate investigations and ensure compliance with laws and policies.
