Job summary

Cantex Continuing Care Network is seeking an LVN/LPN Charge Nurse for overnight shift at our skilled nursing location in Lufkin, Texas. The role focuses on direct patient care within licensure scope and ongoing monitoring of patient status.

You will document assessments in the EMR, administer medications, and coordinate care plans while supervising CNA staff to ensure high-quality care around the clock.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
• Maintain patient care within LVN/LPN scope and follow policies.
• Document patient assessments and changes per procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments per order.
• Supervise CNA staff to ensure quality care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care within LVN/LPN scope.
• Observe, assess, and report patient conditions and document changes.
• EMR documentation of patient assessments and changes.
• Ensure care plans are implemented and meds/treatments are given as prescribed.
• Supervise CNAs to maintain high-quality patient care.
