Job summary

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or associate degree in nursing from an accredited program. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• One year of nursing experience in a long-term care community preferred.
• RN license and state licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Direct nursing services to residents on assigned unit.
• Provide hands-on training and retraining to staff.
• Oversee physician orders and administer medications per orders.
• Lead and discipline clinical and non-clinical team members as needed.
• Coordinate care plans with the interdisciplinary team and document resident status.
