Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Active state-approved medication aide/technician certification required.
• Insulin certification preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care services including medicine distribution according to individualized care plans.
• Observe residents and communicate condition changes to physicians and supervisors; provide timely interventions.
• Document all pertinent observations, incidents, and interventions.
• Pass information to the next shift and ensure timely documentation by aides.
• Assist with activities of daily living and maintain safety in the resident environment.
