Job summary

Chenega Government Mission Solutions, LLC in Lawton Indian Hospital seeks a Laboratory Technician III to perform standardized and non-standardized clinical tests across hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, serology, Blood Bank, Microbiology and reference lab. This full-time overnight role supports 24/7 operations.

You will perform start-up/shutdown, quality control, documentation, blood draws, proficiency testing, and training compliance.

Qualifications

• ASCP or AMT certification required.
• Minimum 2-3 years clinical laboratory experience to include blood bank.
• Associate degree in laboratory science or related field.
• Knowledge of IHS systems such as RPMS or VistA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs standardized and non-standardized clinical laboratory tests across multiple sections.
• Performs start up and shutdown procedures on instruments; maintains records.
• Performs quality control and investigates variances; documents outcomes.
• Draws blood on all age groups and provides clerical support when needed.
• Participates in proficiency testing and accreditation processes.
