Wonder is hiring a Shift Supervisor to oversee kitchen operations at a Midtown East location in New York. You will lead a team, coordinate with chefs, and ensure top-quality service while managing orders, deliveries, and stock.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervising a restaurant team in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Attention to detail and a strong drive for efficiency and accuracy.
• Demonstrates professionalism and adheres to policies and procedures.
• Must be able to exhibit effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Lead the restaurant team in opening, prep, and closing duties.
• Coordinate with chef leadership and other departments for high-quality service.
• Receive and process kitchen orders and deliveries per protocol.
• Maintain stock levels and assist with supplies and ordering.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices are followed across back-of-house areas.
• Monitor kitchen costs and adhere to budget guidelines.
• Ensure equipment is safe and in working order.
• Brief front and back-of-house staff pre- and post-service.
• Meet operating and quality standards consistently.
• Lead with a professional and ethical style.
• Participate in training and development for staff.
