Job summary

Union Depot is seeking a Journeyman Engineer to ensure safe, reliable operation and maintenance of critical data center infrastructure in Santa Clara. The role covers preventive, predictive, and corrective work on electrical distribution, UPS, generators, HVAC, cooling, plumbing, and building automation to support continuous uptime.

The shift is Monday through Friday, 10pm–6am, with pay of $76.50 per hour and weekly pay. LOCAL 39 benefits, pension, and 401(k) are provided by the employing entity.

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical data center infrastructure systems.
• Maintain electrical distribution, UPS, backup generators, HVAC and cooling systems.
• Inspect building automation, plumbing, and related infrastructure to ensure uptime.

Job description

The Journeyman Engineer is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of critical data center infrastructure systems that support continuous facility uptime. This role performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mission-critical equipment, including electrical distribution systems, UPS systems, backup generators, HVAC/mechanical systems, cooling infrastructure, plumbing, and building automation systems.

Shift: Monday through Friday | 10pm - 6am

Pay: $76.50 per hour | Weekly Pay
