Job summary

People Incorporated Mental Health Services is hiring an entry-level Independent Living Skills Coach in Saint Paul, MN. The role provides person-centered engagement, medication administration, and program oversight with overnight hours Wednesday–Saturday 10pm–8:30am.

Responsibilities include documenting interactions in the EHR, preparing/serving meals, housekeeping, rounds for safety, and supporting clients' mental health through coping skills practice.

Qualifications

• 2000 hours of work experience delivering health and human services within the last 10 years or equivalent formal education.
• GED or HS Diploma; OR AA/BA in behavioral science or related field; OR equivalent life experience with mental illness or caregiving.

Responsibilities

• Document client interactions in the EHR and program records with clear, concise communication.
• Assist with meals service and meal cleanup per schedule and safety standards.
• Administer medications per organizational policies and procedures.
• Provide daily housekeeping and maintain clean client homes and work areas.
• Conduct rounds and safety checks to ensure resident wellbeing.
• Support mental health management by teaching coping skills and de-escalation techniques.
