Job summary

People Incorporated Mental Health Services in Saint Paul is seeking an Independent Living Skills Coach for full-time evening shifts, offering $22–$24 per hour with a $2/hour differential for Monday–Friday evenings. Schedule includes Saturdays and Sundays 4p-12:30a, with the main office at Eagan, MN.

The role involves supporting clients with mental health management, documenting in the EHR, medication administration, and maintaining safety and cleanliness in client homes and facilities.

Qualifications

• 2000 hours of work experience providing health and human services in the last 10 years
• GED or High School Diploma; OR associate degree or two years postsecondary education in behavioral science or related fields
• Have, within the previous ten years, three years of personal life experience with mental illness OR as a primary caregiver to an adult with mental illness, traumatic brain injury, substance use disorder, or developmental disability
• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or related field with practicum or internship focused on adults/clients served (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Document interactions with clients in the EHR and communicate clearly with client and staff
• Prepare, serve, and clear meals in accordance with program schedules and safety standards
• Administer medications per policies
• Maintain daily housekeeping and conduct rounds for client homes and workstations
• Support individuals in mental health management by fostering coping skills
