Job summary

Target in Arlington, VA is seeking an Inbound Expert to support General Merchandise operations. You will sort, stock, price and ensure product availability while assisting guests and teammates in a fast-paced store environment.

This role requires 18+ years of age, a welcoming attitude, ability to work with scanners and handheld tech, and the capacity to multitask across duties such as cashier backup and pickup services.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners.
• Work independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
• Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Execute a detailed, accurate and efficient sorting operation.
• Stock, organize and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on sales floor.
• Maintain product availability on the salesfloor for GM categories.
• Operate powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise.
• Process defective merchandise and handle environmentally sensitive items per laws and regulations.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work in a safe manner; follow safety policies and training; report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up and Drive up while ensuring compliance with laws.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with their needs.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs; thank guests for shopping at Target.
• All other duties based on business needs.
