Job summary

Target is looking for an Inbound Expert in New York to support GM, inbound and shelf readiness. The role focuses on guest service, merchandise organization, and efficient stock handling on the sales floor.

You will assist with back-up cashier duties and drive-up operations while ensuring safety and compliance in a fast-paced retail environment. Training is provided to develop skills for a career at Target.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of guest service fundamentals
• Experience with retail business fundamentals including inventory management and process efficiency
• Experience executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and sales goals

Responsibilities

• Execute a detailed, accurate and efficient sorting operation.
• Stock, organize and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on sales floor.
• Maintain product availability on the salesfloor for GM categories.
• Operate powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise.
• Process defective merchandise and handle ESIM items in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work in a safe manner at all times; comply with safety policies and training; report hazards and correct where possible.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up and Drive up and maintain compliance with laws.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with tasks.
• Engage with guests to solve their specific needs and thank them for shopping with Target.
• All other duties based on business needs.
