Job summary

Target is hiring as an Inbound Expert in New York. You will be part of General Merchandise operations, ensuring product is sorted, labeled, in-stock and ready for guests.

You will handle inbound shipments, stock reserves, and maintain floor availability while using handheld scanners and safety procedures. The role demands a proactive, guest-focused attitude, teamwork, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners

Responsibilities

• Execute a detailed, accurate and efficient sorting operation.
• Stock, organize and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on sales floor.
• Maintain product availability on the salesfloor for GM categories.
• Operate powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise.
• Process defective merchandise in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up and Drive Up and maintain compliance with policies.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests during daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs.
• Thank guests and express appreciation for shopping Target.
• All other duties based on business needs
