Job summary

Target is seeking an Inbound Expert to support General Merchandise operations in a fast-paced store environment. You will help guests, manage stock, assist teammates, and ensure smooth, friendly service on the sales floor.

The role includes training to develop skills, with opportunities to assist in cashiering, pickup, and Drive Up duties while maintaining safety and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment
• Work both independently and with a team
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments: greet guests at 10ft and 4ft, help guests find what they need, resolve issues, and end every guest transaction with a sincere thank you
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude
• Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience
• Execute a detailed, accurate and efficient sorting operation; stock, organize and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on sales floor
• If certified, operate powered equipment to unload freight or move merchandise; handle defective merchandise in compliance with laws
• Maintain safety policies, report hazards, and work in a safe manner; support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up and Drive Up
• All other duties based on business needs
