Job summary

Four Seasons Minneapolis seeks an Overnight Room Service Server/Coordinator to deliver seamless in-room dining overnight, manage orders via telephone and Micros, and ensure timely, accurate service with warmth and discretion.

About the role

Basic Purpose: As part of our overnight In ‑ Room Dining team, you will play a key role in delivering seamless room service while supporting the smooth running of operations overnight. You will manage all in ‑ room dining orders received via telephone and mobile platform, ensuring accuracy, clear communication, and efficient distribution to the kitchen and service teams, as well as deliver food and beverages to guest rooms with professionalism, discretion, and warmth, creating a refined dining experience in the privacy of the guest's room.

What you will do

• Deliver food orders including any special needs or requests to the guest in-room, check completed kitchen orders with the order taker or guest's original order; transport items to the guestroom in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.
• Greet guests, describe selected items to the guest using interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item's, origin, taste, and preparation methods; communicate options for removal of trays and dishware; respond to request for tray removal according to established time standards.
• Breakdown, clean and set-up of room service tables, condiment set-ups, flatware, dishware, and room service side stations .
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests .
• Properly and accurately close guest checks securing room number and signature; properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals.
• Set up the lobby coffee service and ensure specialty coffee machine is in working order. Input all breakfast pre orders into Micros and complete the dry setup of them. Ensure the AM team is set up for success by completing AM shift mise en place. Complete any final prep work .
• Comply with Four Seasons' Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact .
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
