Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Physician Assistant to join the ICU team for overnight coverage on a 7pm–7am, 7 on/7 off rotation. The role focuses on high-acuity ICU care with a typical patient load of critically ill patients, including procedures such as central lines and intubations.

In this hospital-based position, you will work with autonomy while receiving physician collaboration and support from an expanding ICU team.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in Texas.
• Experience in critical care or acute care is preferred; new grads welcome.
• Ability to perform invasive procedures and hospital rounds.

Responsibilities

• New and established patient evaluations.
• Hospital and ED consults.
• Pre- and post-operative care.
• In-basket management.
• Perform central lines, arterial lines, and intubations for complex critical care patients.
• Independent practice with physician collaboration and support.
