Job summary

Ronald McDonald House Atlanta is seeking a Night Manager to oversee operations in the absence of the House Manager. The role involves managing guest check-ins, maintaining records, and coordinating with hospital staff to ensure the well-being of families from Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 pm – 7:00 am.

The ideal candidate has a college degree or equivalent experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to supervise volunteers when needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a college degree with relevant coursework; equivalent work experience may be accepted.
• Experience in volunteer coordination is a plus; personal volunteer experience acceptable.
• Excellent communication, organizational, time management, sound judgment, and problem-solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Manage guest referrals, check-in and check-out processes.
• Oversee guest background checks while on duty.
• Record guest information in Family Registry; keep data current.
• Maintain professional communication with hospital staff and social workers.
• Enforce guest rules and house policies in a tactful manner.
• Respond to inquiries and document status for House Manager.
