Job summary

Ronald McDonald House Atlanta is seeking a Second Shift Facilities Coordinator to maintain the safety, cleanliness, and readiness of the North Druid Hills location during operating hours. This full-time, on-site role runs Monday-Friday 2:00 PM-10:30 PM and includes back-up support to the House Manager and potential duties at the Peachtree Dunwoody House.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required or preferred as baseline.
Experience in facilities, general maintenance, or building operations is helpful.
Ability to work independently and stay calm in emergencies.
Basic knowledge of building systems and maintenance tools.
Strong attention to safety and detail.
Reliable transportation and tech-savviness for documentation.

Responsibilities

Conduct facility walk-throughs to check safety, maintenance, and cleanliness.
Perform minor repairs such as bulbs, drains, thermostats, painting, and drywall touch-ups.
Complete evening preventive maintenance tasks and keep areas organized.
Monitor safety systems and respond to alarms or emergencies.
Provide backup support to the House Manager and assist during family emergencies.
Prepare shift notes and ensure tools/workspaces are ready for next day.
