Job summary

Sunday River Resort’s Public Safety department is seeking individuals who like to do things by the book to join our team as Public Safety Hotel Security. Ideal candidates will be highly organized and detail-oriented, conduct themselves in a professional manner, and be comfortable working alone or with others.

Must have strong communication skills and be able to work a flexible schedule. Hours are 3 PM to 7 AM, overnights, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior Military/Security/Law Enforcement experience preferred, but not required.
• Valid Maine driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Nightly foot patrol of interior and exterior hotel property.
• Enforce rules and regulations set forth by the HOA.
• Respond to calls for service from guests and staff.
• Assist Mountain Patrol with investigations of injuries.
• Respond to alarms (fire, smoke, intrusion) and coordinate emergency response.
• Provide basic first aid when called upon.
• Conduct housekeeping duties when called upon.
• Handle routine maintenance issues when called upon.
• Maintain contact with Front Desk Staff.
• Maintain contact with Mountain Patrol Officer.
• 25% of patrol shift will be outdoors; 100% night shifts; weekends and holidays required.
