Monrovia TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Monrovia, CA is seeking a Night Auditor to manage overnight front desk operations and ensure accurate nightly reporting. You will welcome guests, verify charges, and balance cash while maintaining security and guest satisfaction.

This role requires a friendly demeanor, reliability, and the ability to work overnights. Prior Night Audit experience is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is recommended. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 6 months – 1+ year of Night Audit experience preferred.
• Desire to work overnight shifts.
• A friendly, positive attitude and genuine desire to help others.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain professional and calm when handling guest concerns.
• Ability to handle confidential guest information with integrity.
• Basic computer and cash-handling skills.
• Reliable and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Keeps accurate accounts of cash, checks and credit transactions
• Handles confidential information, including guest records, with a high degree of integrity
• Verifies room charges and rates; verifies register has appropriate starting cash
• Manages daily paperwork including occupancy report, guest list, cash drawer summary, balance sheet, account summary, history file, and housekeeping report
• Submits reports to corporate office as appropriate
• Blocks rooms and handles guest requests
• Performs and documents security walks on a regular basis
• Has a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures and implementation of procedures
• Prepares continental breakfast on time; replenishes breakfast items as needed
• Performs duties of a Guest Service Agent, including laundry functions as directed
• May be required to make management decisions in manager's absence
• All other duties as assigned
