Job summary

Marriott Madison West is seeking a Maintenence / Security Tech for an overnight shift to keep the hotel safe, clean, and welcoming. You will respond to guest needs, perform basic repairs, and help maintain sanitary and secure public areas.

Responsibilities include inspecting facilities, reporting issues, and assisting with emergencies while adhering to safety procedures and delivering excellent guest service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently.
• Preferred: maintenance, facilities, security, or related experience.
• Basic knowledge of tools and equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and upkeep throughout the hotel and property.
• Inspect common areas, guest areas, equipment, and facilities and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Assist with basic repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
• Monitor the property and common areas to help maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Respond to guest requests and maintenance concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining public areas, entrances, hallways, restrooms, and other assigned areas.
• Report suspicious activity, safety hazards, damaged property, or security concerns to management.
• Assist with emergencies and follow established safety and security procedures.
• Move furniture, equipment, supplies, and other items as needed.
• Maintain accurate communication with management regarding maintenance, safety, security, and guest concerns.
• Follow all hotel safety, maintenance, security, and operational procedures.
