Job summary

HHS Talent Solutions, LLC is seeking a Temporary Hotel Maintenance Technician to support Marriott Madison West during a peak period. You will address daily maintenance requests across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for guests.

Responsibilities include routine plumbing and minor electrical work, basic carpentry, HVAC troubleshooting on PTAC units and appliances, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of general maintenance experience, ideally in hospitality or facilities.
• Basic working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and general repairs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and climb ladders during an 8-hour shift.
• Strong customer service skills to interact politely with guests during in-room repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs involving plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
• Address guest room work orders promptly and safely.
• Troubleshoot PTAC/HVAC units and standard hotel appliances.
• Patch drywall, touch up paint, and maintain cosmetic upkeep of public areas.
• Inspect spaces for safety, ensure exits are clear, and follow OSHA protocols.
• Assist with preventive maintenance on boilers, pool equipment (if applicable), and building systems.

In this role, you will ensure our guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities remain in excellent working order.
