Job summary

Qualifications

• Hotel engineering experience required, especially HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general building construction.
• Vocational training or associate's degree; state licensure where required.
• Understand and operate advanced electrical, plumbing, refrigeration and boiler systems.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and safely operate central HVAC equipment and mechanical systems according to procedures.
• Repair and maintain kitchen, laundry, refrigeration, boilers and distribution systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic problems and fix promptly and cost-effectively.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on an ongoing basis.
