Job summary

Remington Hotels is seeking an experienced hotel engineer to maintain the property and oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems. You will perform routine walk-throughs, manage preventive maintenance, and keep accurate records for Rooms and Public Areas.

Collaborate with the hotel leadership, including the General Manager, and hire/train staff to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for guests. Join our team to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel engineering experience required, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing
• Read and interpret drawings, diagrams and blue prints
• Strong business communication skills verbal and written
• Flexible to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Someone who enjoys working as and being part of a team that provides great experiences for our Guests!
• Ability to lift and/or move 10-25 pounds as needed

Responsibilities

• Ensure hotel is in great working order and meets all operational standards of the Engineering Department
• Conduct walk-throughs and assess maintenance and operation of the hotel structure, systems and equipment
• Responsible for Rooms and Public Area Preventive Maintenance Program and updated records
• Work with hotel management team and property General Manager
• Hire, train, supervise, coach and counsel associates, including managers
• Ensure grounds are maintained for great arrival experience
• Implement safety and emergency policies and procedures following OSHA HazCom program
