Job summary

Main Street Hospitality’s Newport property is seeking a Night Auditor to balance nightly revenue and deliver guest service during overnight hours. The role combines hospitality and finance, acting as the overnight point of contact while ensuring security and operational smoothness.

The position requires a high school diploma (hospitality or accounting training preferred) and prior hotel front desk or night audit experience is highly favored. Proficiency with PMS and MS Office is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or accounting training preferred.
• Prior hotel front desk or night audit experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of PMS systems and Microsoft Office tools is a plus.
• Comfort with handling financial data, reports, and guest service responsibilities independently.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests during late-night and early-morning hours, including check-ins and check-outs.
• Accurately reconcile and audit all daily hotel transactions and revenue reports across departments.
• Generate and distribute key financial reports for property leadership and corporate review.
• Monitor and manage hotel systems overnight, including security protocols.
• Process no-show charges, review folios for accuracy, and correct billing errors.
