Job summary

Loyola Medicine in Berwyn, IL is seeking a Night Shift Security & Safety Officer to patrol hospital areas and provide unarmed security, safety and customer service.

Under supervision, you will lock/unlock areas, deter crime, enforce hospital rules and support parking and emergency responses while ensuring a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.

This role may require on-call availability; a relevant on-site presence and licensing is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required or equivalent training.
• Associate's degree or equivalent training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrols Medical Center Campus to deter crime and promote safety.
• Maintain security presence at main entrances to control access and direct visitors.
• Document incidents by gathering information for reports.
• Control pedestrian and vehicle traffic on campus.
• Assist Parking and Safety departments as needed.
• Perform security and service-related duties to prevent loss and ensure safety.
• Enforce Loyola University Health System and Medical Center rules.
