Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL, is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to safeguard patients, staff and visitors during the night shift. You will perform electronic surveillance, conduct security rounds, enforce policies, and coordinate responses with the Environment of Care committee to maintain a safe environment of care.

Responsibilities include employee awareness, driving as needed for company business, and adhering to state requirements like a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience in Healthcare security or related field preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Performs security services, including electronic surveillance, and rounds.
• Coordinates facility response to problems for patients, employees, and visitors.
• Enforces policy & procedure with equitable enforcement.
• Follows guidelines and perpetual monitoring techniques for a safe workplace and environment of care.
• Works with Environment of Care committee for multidisciplinary safety.
• Participates in employee awareness and education.
• Driving as needed for company business.
