Job summary

Prime Healthcare’s Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL is seeking a Security Officer for full-time night shifts. The role entails performing security services including electronic surveillance and systematic rounds to ensure safety for patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities include coordinating responses to potential problems, enforcing policies, and contributing to a multi-disciplinary safety approach through the Environment of Care. Driving may be required for company business.

Qualifications

• Experience in Healthcare security or related field preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• State Driver’s license upon hire.
• Current DMV H6 report or Driving History Report.

Responsibilities

• Perform security services including electronic surveillance and routine rounds.
• Coordinate facility responses to potential problems for patients, employees, and visitors.
• Enforce policy and procedures to ensure a safe workplace and environment of care.
• Work with the Environment of Care committee for a multi-disciplinary safety approach.
• Provide employee awareness and education; driving as needed for company business.
