Job summary

Optimal Care is hiring an Overnight Hospice Registered Nurse to deliver expert care in patients' homes and facilities within the Lansing/Jackson area. You’ll work a 7-on/7-off night rotation (5pm–8am) with on-call duties, ensuring comfort and dignity at end of life.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, perform skilled nursing interventions, and respond promptly to urgent needs while maintaining balance with personal life.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current State RN license.
• Minimum 1 year clinical nursing experience.
• Reliable transportation and driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight hospice nursing care with symptom management.
• Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and the care team.
• Deliver compassionate support to patients and families.
• Document care and maintain records accurately.
