Job summary

Optimal Care is seeking a Hospice After Hours Registered Nurse to deliver skilled nursing and compassionate support during overnight hours in patients' homes, facilities, and within the Saginaw service area. You will assess and manage urgent nighttime symptoms and coordinate with physicians and the hospice team to ensure continuity of care.

You will work a 7‑on/7‑off night rotation (5pm–8am) with shifts starting and ending from home, providing stability and a full-time salary while minimizing

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma/Associate/Bachelor).
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight skilled nursing care and emotional support to patients and families.
• Assess and manage urgent nighttime symptoms.
