Optimal Care in Lansing, MI is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse for after-hours coverage on a 7-on/7-off night rotation (5pm–8am) serving patients in homes, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes within the Lansing area. The role emphasizes compassionate, autonomous nursing care, symptom management, and collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure comfort and dignity at end of life.

There is a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's).
• Current MI State License as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice care and symptom management during overnight hours.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to support end-of-life care.
• Deliver compassionate care to patients and families in homes, facilities, or nursing homes.
• Respond to urgent clinical needs with independent, real-time decision making.
