Job summary

Taymax Group is seeking a responsible Member Services Lead at our Sacramento area club. You will supervise overnight staff, greet members, manage check-ins, and help resolve member issues, all while ensuring a welcoming, efficient club environment.

The role requires strong communication, POS familiarity, and a customer-first mindset. The position supports daily operations, staffing, and safety, with opportunities to advance within a fast-growing Planet Fitness franchise network.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• One year of customer service experience, preferably in gym or retail.
• Current CPR Certification preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite) and ability to learn systems quickly.
• Strong supervisory, diplomacy and listening skills.
• Solid customer service and problem resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and some day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example in all member services and activities; maintain welcoming atmosphere and ensure staff follows customer service guidelines.
• Greet members and guests, provide exceptional service and assist with questions.
• Answer phones and assist callers with inquiries.
• Check members in, sign up new members and communicate events to members.
• Provide leadership to overnight staff and supervise shifts to ensure coverage.
• Coordinate with management to address employee issues and safety of the building.
• Oversee cleanliness and upkeep of front desk, lobby, and club areas.
• Complete administrative duties such as inventory, deposits, and reporting.
